Please read carefully our terms & conditions for your booking. It is essential that you are aware of what your booking entails. It may be boring, but it is important! You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be 18 years or over to make a booking.

We normally require a valid credit card or deposit payment to secure bookings. We reserve the right to charge the card for cancellations falling outside the permitted period outlined in the Cancellations section. By making the reservation you are authorising us to make these charges to the card without any additional consent being required. We will only charge you after the booking is confirmed. Once the credit card is processed, we will e-mail the details of your booking by way of confirmation.

All bookings are to be confirmed through a deposit or full payment. If we do not receive your confirmation by deposit payment within 24 hours of making a booking (or unless agreed otherwise), the booking cannot be guaranteed. Please check the booking information carefully, as we cannot accept responsibility for any errors, which are not brought to our attention immediately on receipt of confirmation.

A deposit of £20 or an amount agreed (via email or phone) will be payable to secure your reservation and the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances.

All major debit or credit cards are welcome; a surcharge applies to credit or debit card payment. Cheques are only acceptable 7 days prior to your date of arrival. Please make cheques payable to 'Verdene Hotel'.

We are not a big chain hotel, so please read our cancellation policy carefully. Reservation is made with VERDENE HOTEL ("the hotel", "We", "Us", "Our" ) and represents a legally binding contract between you and the hotel. For bookings of 2 rooms or more, and/or 3 nights or more, and/or special events and public holidays, we require a minimum of 14 days notice of cancellation or amendment of any reservation to avoid a cancellation charge of 50% of the total value of the reservation as detailed in the confirmation email/letter. We require a minimum of 7 days notice for other bookings. At the sole discretion of the proprietors, there maybe partial refund of the charge if we are able to re-let the cancelled room(s). All cancellations or amendments must be made IN WRITING via email, fax or post. We shall confirm the receipt of your cancellation.
A cancellation must be confirmed back to you by the Hotel. If you have not received a confirmation of the cancellation within 24 hours after submission (with the exception by Post), you should assume that we have not received it and you must resubmit it. Late amendment will be considered as a cancellation of an existing booking. Same day cancellations or amendments are subject to a one night charge. Amendments are subject to availability and will incur a charge of £10 for each amendment.

If in the rare unforeseen circumstances we cannot provide your booked accommodation, you will be offered alternate accommodation or a full refund.

In the event of no show, you will be charged at the full cost of the booking.

Check-in from 14.30 to 22.00 (GMT) (unless agreed otherwise by prior arrangement) & check-out by 10.30 AM (or other time by prior agreement). Late check-out charge may apply DIETARY REQUIREMENT We can cater for vegetarian or vegan diets, but unfortunately cannot cater for life-threatening nut or food allergy.

Rooms are cleaned between 10.30 to 14.30; staff will not enter the room if it is occupied.

Guests are expected to look after the keys responsibly. A charge will be made for the loss or damage to keys.

NO SMOKING is permitted in the hotel. All bedrooms are non-smoking, so if guests are found to not complying will be asked to leave immediately. We reserve the right to charge an extra night's stay if we have to especially clean and air the room for 24 hours.

Unfortunately we have no provisions for pets.

You have access to your room/hotel at all times upon obtaining the keys. However, as a courtesy to other guests, no disturbances or loud noise from 23.00 - 07.00. If there are any complaints or non-compliance, you will be asked to leave without any refund.

We reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of guest. In the event of failure to comply with requests, we may terminate the booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.

All payment are non-refundable in case of no show/cancellations or reduction in numbers. A partial refund is only available if the rooms are re-let.

We cannot accept responsibility for loss any valuables. Please ensure that you take all your belongings with you.

Guests are recommended to have insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.

Visitors are not allowed in the bedrooms.

Children are welcome and must be accompanied by adults. Individual guests must be 18 years old and over. Children over the age of 14 are charged as adults

All cars are parked at the owner's own risk.

If we suffer damages to items belonging to the hotel due to wilful negligence or deliberate misuse resulting in a replacement, cleaning or repair being carried out - we reserve the right to reclaim all and any costs incurred including loss of business by charging the credit card given to secure the booking, without prior consent being required. Invoices will be supplied to support the claims/costs charged.

Verdene Hotel will not share your personal details with any third party.We will not store your credit card details. Your credit card information is only used to process payment and guarantee your booking.

We may process the information you provide for the purpose of processing payment and you consent to this processing of information
